Railway Station Transfers
Chauffeur transfers to and from York, Leeds, Manchester Piccadilly and King's Cross. We watch the train rather than the clock, and every fare is fixed.
Trains are often the fastest way in and out of Yorkshire, and the weak link is the first and last few miles. We meet trains at York and Leeds, drop for departures at both, and run the longer journeys to Manchester Piccadilly and London King's Cross when the train does not suit.
The stations we serve

- York Station: Knaresborough about 30 minutes, Harrogate about 35, Wetherby about 25, Ripon about 40
- Leeds Station: Harrogate about 40 minutes, York about 40, Ilkley about 35
- Manchester Piccadilly: Leeds about 65 minutes by the M62
- London King's Cross: from York or Harrogate by the A1(M) and M1, about four hours
Meeting an arriving train
We watch the train rather than the clock. If it is late, we adjust; if it is early, we are already there. At York we meet at the taxi rank, or on the platform with a name board by arrangement. At the front of York Station we set down on the Tea Room Square side.
Train or car to London?
For most people the best answer is both: a short chauffeured run to York or Leeds and the train south. When luggage, timing or a door-to-door requirement makes the train awkward, we drive the whole way. Our guide to train or chauffeur for Yorkshire to London sets out both options.
Pricing
Luggage is never a problem: the Mercedes V-Class takes up to six passengers with full cases, and the Range Rover Vogue suits one to three travelling lighter. Early departures and late arrivals are normal for us, because the first and last trains are exactly when the taxi ranks are empty. Station transfers are quoted as fixed prices with no waiting charge for a delayed train. Tell us the train and we will quote the journey in writing.
Common questions
What happens if my train is delayed?
We track the train and adjust the collection. There is no extra charge for a delayed arrival.
Will you meet me on the platform?
At York we can meet on the platform with a name board by arrangement. Otherwise we meet at the taxi rank.
Is it better to drive to London or take the train?
Most clients prefer LNER from York, and we drop them at the station. We offer both options when quoting.
