Airport Chauffeur Meet and Greet: What to Expect
How an airport chauffeur meet and greet works: flight tracking, the name board in arrivals, waiting after landing, delays, luggage and fixed pricing.
How an airport chauffeur collection works from landing to your front door: flight tracking, where the chauffeur waits, what happens if you are delayed, luggage and payment.
With an airport chauffeur meet and greet, your driver tracks your flight, waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, helps with your luggage and walks you to the car, so you never have to find a taxi rank or a pickup zone. The collection time follows your actual landing rather than the timetable, and a waiting allowance for passport control and baggage is already included. This guide walks through each stage, from booking to your front door, so you know exactly what happens and what to do if plans change.
Before you fly: what we need
The flight number is the most important detail, because it lets us follow the aircraft rather than guess. Add the number of passengers and cases, a mobile number that will work when you land, and the address you are heading to. If anyone in the party needs extra help, or you are travelling with sports equipment or a pushchair, say so when booking so the right vehicle is allocated.
For a couple or a solo traveller the silver Mercedes-Benz V-Class is usually right. Our silver Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a luxury MPV seating up to 7 passengers with generous luggage space, suited to executive groups, airport transfers, weddings and events. The price is fixed in writing before you confirm.
Flight tracking and timing
On the day we watch the flight's progress. If it lands early, the chauffeur is already there. If it is delayed, the collection moves with it. You do not need to call from the aircraft to say you are late, and you are not charged for a delay you did not cause.
Waiting time is built in after landing to cover the walk from the gate, passport control and baggage reclaim. Busy international arrivals halls take longer than domestic ones, and the allowance reflects that.
In the arrivals hall
The chauffeur waits in the arrivals area with a name board. Once you meet, the chauffeur takes the luggage trolley and walks you to the car, which is parked in the airport's short stay or meet and greet parking rather than a distant pickup zone.
If you cannot see the chauffeur, call the number in your confirmation. It reaches the person collecting you, not a call centre.

On the road home
Our silver Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a luxury MPV seating up to 7 passengers with generous luggage space, suited to executive groups, airport transfers, weddings and events. If you would rather rest, say so; a good chauffeur reads the cabin and lets a tired traveller be.
Airport car park charges for a meet and greet collection are passed through at face value and shown in the quote, not added afterwards.
Departures work the other way round
For an outbound flight, the chauffeur collects you from home at a time agreed in advance and drops you at the terminal forecourt. We plan the collection time with you, allowing for check-in, security and the road conditions at that hour, and early morning departures are handled like any other booking.
If something goes wrong
If a flight is diverted or cancelled, call the number in your confirmation as soon as you know. We will talk through the new arrival and what can be rearranged. On a return booking made together, one conversation handles both legs.

Is the airport parking charge extra?
The airport's car park charge for a meet and greet collection is passed through at face value and shown in your quote before you confirm.
