Wetherby is a commuter town at the junction of the A1(M) and the roads to Harrogate, York and Leeds. Most of what we do here is airport and station work, plus the racecourse in the jumps season.

Wetherby is the friendly winter jumps course, and its Christmas meetings are among the dates where local supply runs out. It is about 25 minutes from the Harrogate area; we plan to arrive an hour before the first race, and getting away afterwards is easy.
Where people are going from Wetherby
York Station is about 16 miles on the A1237 outer ring road, around 25 minutes, which makes it the natural station for London trains. Leeds Bradford is about 18 miles by the A661 through Harewood and the A658, 40 minutes off-peak and 55 to 65 at peak, typically £85 to £110 one way.
Manchester Airport is about 70 miles down the A1(M) and across the M62, and Newcastle is about 95 miles straight up the A1(M).
