Wedding Day Multi-Location Photographer Car
A driver for the wedding photographer's day — church, first-look location, reception, sunset drive. Frees the photographer to work.
Wedding photographers plan five locations and three light windows in a day and can't drive between them themselves without missing golden hour. A dedicated driver-for-the-photographer is a niche but real request.
Booked increasingly by high-end Yorkshire wedding photographers (typical fee £5k+) for their own use, and by clients directly as a photographer-supplement.
Church → couple-portrait location 1 → reception → sunset location → back. 6 stops in a day.
The silver Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a luxury MPV seating up to 7 passengers with generous luggage space. Share passenger and luggage details when enquiring.
Full day 08:00 to 23:00. Late-evening sunset then last dance return.
£650 flat day rate for the wedding photographer's own vehicle.
- Kit stowage — bags stay open and accessible in the boot
- Weather-window rerouting on the day
- Two locations pre-scouted with the photographer the week before
- Sunset-time-tracking — driver knows when to be moving
- Long day — the driver's on until you wrap, not clock-out at 18:00
- Middleton Lodge to Bolton Castle is 45 min — usually a golden-hour sprint
- Rise Hall's meadow gate closes 20:30; the light works to 21:15 in June
- Coastal sunset shoots (Runswick, Robin Hood's Bay) add 90 min each way from most venues
