Haworth and the moors
The Brontë day is compact: about 60 miles over six hours, collecting from Harrogate and heading west into the moorland around Haworth. Entry to the Brontë Parsonage Museum is pre-booked, so you walk straight in to the rooms where Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote.
After lunch on Haworth Main Street, the car takes you up towards the Top Withens viewpoint. The moor walk is optional; some guests go on foot, others simply take in the view from the road.
A steep approach
The climb into Haworth is steep and the village streets are narrow. Our silver Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a luxury MPV seating up to 7 passengers with generous luggage space, suited to executive groups, airport transfers, weddings and events. The return runs through Hebden Bridge or Ilkley depending on the light and your preference.
When to go
May to October gives the best conditions on the tops. A tea at Cobbles & Clay in Haworth fits neatly before the drive back, and the shorter day leaves the evening free in Harrogate or York.
