Leeds East operates as an FBO at the former Church Fenton airfield, handling private and business aircraft rather than scheduled flights. It is one of the quickest airfields to reach from York: about 17 miles and 30 minutes west on the A64 to the Church Fenton turn.
From Harrogate the route is around 28 miles and 50 minutes, east on the A661 through Wetherby and then along the A64. From Knaresborough we take the A59 east, the A1237 and the A64, about 26 miles in 45 minutes.
